About Jodie

When Jodie first met Rick, he was working with his uncle. On the weekends Jodie went with Rick while he was grinding stumps, and would look for anyone else in the neighborhood that might have a stump in their yard. She would go and talk to them to see if they wanted their stump ground too.

When Rick was let go from his prior employment, Jodie thought it was the perfect opportunity for Rick to start his own business. She didn?t know much about trees at the time, except for the fact she loved to climb them as kid. Jodie started out with Rick handling all the office work, customer service, and marketing for the business.

Jodie was attending The Pennsylvania State University as a business major at the time. She also worked for Chrysler Financial in Horsham, PA.

She quickly grew an interest in trees and took additional courses in arboriculture at Rutgers University and Swarthmore College. She graduated from PSU in 2002, and started working full time with Rick. Currently, Jodie is a member of the International Society of Arboriculture and an ISA Certified Arborist.

You might talk to her on the phone, see her at your door for the appraisal, going over the work with the guys, or stopping by to bring the guys coffee or water. She?ll also be driving by periodically to make sure your trees are pruned to her standards, or your yard was left clean.
